Privacy rules now cover all personal information held by organisations in Australia under the Privacy Act, 1988.
Purpose and use of personal information
The main reason that Sandhurst Trustees Limited (as Trustee) and SMA Consultants Pty Ltd (as Fund Administrator) collect
personal information is to establish and administer arrangements in relation to the Fund. As part of the administration of the
Fund your personal information may be disclosed for purposes which include: for compliance with Superannuation and Taxation
Law; where relevant to your employer to monitor their superannuation arrangements; and to enable your financial adviser, if
applicable, to provide advice to you.
Other organisations to whom your personal information may be disclosed for these purposes include:

your bank or other financial institution for any direct credits or debits;

other entities for the purpose of financial advice and rollover or transfer of benefits;

If the requested personal information is not provided on the application form and other relevant forms it may not be possible
to process or administer your application.
By becoming a member of the Fund you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described
